The Zoey Samaras path for Zach on the Return to Dunwich Legacy playthrough for Team Covenant.

After two back to back campaigns featuring investigators who were fantastic as tests (Tony "Zeroes" Morgan and Joe Diamond), this deck looks to avoid test-taking as often as possible.

The deck brings Beat Cop and Guard Dog to do the heavy lifting on direct damage, which is paired with cards like Zoey's Cross and Small Favor for enough damage to take down most enemies without even attacking. The Survival Knife is a fun and relevant piece of this puzzle, as it can often get you the last damage or two necessary to take out an enemy without having to spend time actually attacking them.

With each engagement generating her a resource thanks to her native ability, Zoey wants to have her engage as many of the enemies as possible. On the Hunt, First Watch, and I'll Handle This all allow her to either manipulate the encounter deck to get enemies or force the enemies her direction, which is super useful to protect the other player in a 2-player game.

With her taking so many of the enemies, it's likely she's going to be taking a lot of damage. Calling in Favors is a great way to clear the damage off of an ally and give you some more soak and Hallowed Mirror is there to give you the option to heal yourself and your allies if you still haven't seen the cross.

On the other side of the coin, Evidence! and Scene of the Crime allow Zoey to gather some clues along the way without ever worrying about failing a test.

We'll be streaming Return to Dunwich Legacy for the next month+ on YouTube, where you can follow along as my deck continues to be upgraded.

Survival Knife is truly underrated. However, I would probably upgrade those knives because the upgraded version allows you to do your counter attack before the enemy's attack goes through. That way you often don't even get hit because your counter attack kills the enemy first.

@Hitchslappeddefinitely. That card did exist when this deck was built. If you watch our campaign streams, that card goes in as soon as it released!
