- Q: Can "You've Had Worse" (4) be used on yourself? You are an investigator at your location, but then it’s unclear whether you can yourself up to 5 resources. If so, must you actually have a resource for each point you ignore? Or do you need only one resource that you can give yourself up to 5 times? Or can you use it on yourself with zero resources in your resource pool and still cancel up to 5 damage/horror? A: No; you cannot “give yourself” resources, so you cannot use “You’ve Had Worse….” (4) on yourself. (Ruling, April 2025)

Be "Skids" O'Toole or Tony Morgan, throw a Dynamite Blast in a connecting location, play "You've had worse...", tell your friend that for 3 resources he can cancel the 3 damages you have just dealt to him.
Rogues are known to be sketchy, but paying yourself?! I guess the potential weirdness of this card is limited by having to give the resources all at once, but as long as you have 5 (which is easily doable as one of the greens) this card is more and less flexible than Deny Existence at the same time:
- (-) You can only choose damage and/or horror.
- (-) You can only cancel 5.
- (+) You can mix damage and horror.
- (+) You can target other investigators.
- (+) You can target investigators at connecting locations.
- (+) Damage/horror can come from player card effects.
