Twisting portions of the relic unlocks a small cylinder in the center. Inside the cylinder is an even smaller version of the same relic, and within the smaller relic is a glittering gem. Holding it up to the light projects a series of small dots that form some kind of code. One of the expedition members identifies it as a blueprint of sorts: the symbols appear to be instructions for repairing some kind of machine.
