This deck was so much fun to play in tango with Roland (1st campaign) that I decided to share the list.

The concept is to use the odds of the chaos bag to your advantage.

All you need to do is also dare tests with relative low success probability which can

-> succeed if you're lucky: all the better

-> fail with a small margin which allows you to gather 2 clues (look what I found) and a card (rabbits foot) or succeed with the use of lucky

-> fail with a wide margin which triggers 'live and learn' improving your odds (you get to trigger the Rabbit's foot as well) OR lets you redraw using Wendy's ability to enable all the above and ditch winging it for value later.

This version of Wendy [you have flashlight to help against high shroud] can gather clues 2/turn efficiently and rarely whiffs as you will find compensation for bad luck in card draw. With the help of double or nothing, you can win double effects on the easy tests.

Her second competence is evasion, using it for additional clues (eavesdrop)or mobility (tracking shoes) whilst avoiding enemies. A potential kill or two of an important enemy is possible using backstab and/or lantern which are to be recurred through the use of resourceful or the omnipotent amulet in the case of the former. obviously with all the events in the deck, the amulet is bonkers.

You will notice that this deck makes Wendy very very resilient

-> against enemies which can be evaded easily or defeated if needed,

-> against encounters as she will soak up the horror with the help of Sylvestre and her high stats

whilst progressing fast on clue gathering.

Ideal opening hands contain 2 of: Rabbit's foot, tracking shoes, Sylvestre, amulet, flashlight, winging it.

I've toyed with the idea of adding Dig Deep to consume excess ressources. It might be a good alternative to the second eavesdrop, but I haven't felt any surplus of ressources during my games.

With the XP of the first scenario, I bought the Ornate Bow and removed one Flashlight. I really wanted to play 'little timid Wendy carrying her deadly bow' and making her even more versatile against all odds allowing her to kill the elite too. You can go the traditional upgrade cycle which I did after scenario 2 adding Aquinna 3 and Sylvestre, but there are many other good upgrades cards too of course.

So if you dislike whiffing on the chaos bag by a small or wide margin, please give Wendy a spin? I hope this deck will surprise you and your teammates as much as it did me!
