The plan is to use adaptable as the power xp cards come online to switch this from a "win by fail" deck to a "money hording, succeed by 2+" deck. Maybe swing into cornered and some improvised cards too?
Newspaper is also a very possible upgrade for the cluing. And Ace in the hole?
Adaptable in double or nothing and Swift reflexes.
Note: The above never really happened. There wasn't much need for adaptable (the deck is too tight), and the fail to win is actually rather low (mostly being Drawing Thin and the occasional Take Heart, both of which are sometimes difficult to use and mostly used for card draw).
The deck, generally, hasn't struggled for clues and slowly amasses money, and plays fairly differently depending on what's drawn. It needs more draw, but going into a +2 since we're taboo'ed seems unlikely.
