4th Player Decks:

4th Player Decks are a series of decks designed for a 4th player in a 4-player campaign -- especially one with three other strong decks. As such, they eschew any need to be self-sufficient in favor of a somewhat outlandish singular focus. They often rely on other player to survive and win scenarios -- and often to provide extra XP for the final build. But, as they approach their final build (both through xp in a campaign and through combo(s) in an individual mission, they can become dominant.

Note: Most of these are theory-crafted and draw-tested, as play-testing a 4 player campaign is, well, time-consuming.

The purpose of Mega-Boost Minh is to maximize her ability to boost herself and others, especially with Analytical Mind by maximizing her options (large hand size and fast draw) and the amount of her boosts. While this particular build requires a nearly unreachable amount of XP (especially in a class without xp boosters), there are plenty of cuts that could be made of cards that are simply "nice" to have (Versatile, 1 or both Studious, Relic Hunter, Charisma; even one of the Dream Diaries.....); there are only a few that are really necessary to deck power here.

If you play your cards right, Minh should be able to boost quite a few of the tests each round (again, with Analytical Mind in play, or by using Pathfinder to position yourself at a key testing location). 9 of her skills draw cards to replace themselves (more if you swap out for a 2nd overpower and/or Daring), all of her events draw cards (including A Glimmer of Hope, which can each turn repopulate her hand with 3 boosts), and even her assets provide more card draw (Dream Diary gives you one mega-boost a turn; Grisly Totem draws cards if you use them on your own tests).

In the end, you should be adding +1-5 on most essential or risky tests performed by your team. Even Minh can swing at an enemy at Fists 10 for 3 Damage and a 3-card draw (Overpower, Brute Force, Grisly Totem x2, Minh's special ability).

In the end, Find and play Analytical Mind!, get in position to boost friends with your own cards and your special ability on their cards; commit cards yourself all over the place with Analytical Mind, and, I suppose, find some clues with those spare actions and Deduction, Sharp Vision, and Perception and boosts from Higher Education.

As Eye of Truth comes out in a couple months, Consider adding that (I know, I know.... more XP....) for the Unexpected Courage.
