This is a silly, theoretical, deck I have been working on, but am unable to test because I don't have all the necessary cards. The idea is to set Rita up with the ability to absolutely obliterate monsters. It's over the top and probably impracticable, but I think it could be quite fun! The primary goal is to get the first Ornate Bow out, then get Dr. Elli Horowitz into play with a second Ornate Bow attached, giving Rita the awesome power of duel wielding a weapon that is already her most deadly asset. Secondary goal is to assemble Rita's team of Jessica Hyde and Peter Sylvestre to boost her stats even further ensuring that she can kill pretty much anything that crosses her path as well as giving her consistent damage soak. Top things off with Track Shoes for extra and mobility. The rest of the deck is focused on drawing cards for this obscene set up, gathering clues in a pinch, and boosting Rita's will for those treacheries that she can't shoot with an arrow. Like I said, this is purely theoretical for the moment until I get the packs to test it our, but if you give it a shot let me know how it goes.

Jul 16, 2020If you’re looking for efficiency I’d replace Dr. Elli Horowitz with Venturer as he can reload the bow as free action. Add Emergency Cache 3 for more supplies on him. |
Fantastic concept; rather poor choice of investigator to perform it with. I understand it's an college athletics theme, but you should see the likelyhood of pulling it off as it's presented as slim to none. Ursula Downs would be the true stand-out investigator for the dual-wielding Ornate Bow idea. And whichever investigator you do choose in the end, Calling in Favors gives you a second chance of hitting the Ornate Bow with Dr. Elli Horowitz's search.
