This deck went through Innsmouth together with a BAR sniper Leo Anderson. It is built around Scavenging(2) which allows cycling all sorts of assets into play and not ever spend actions on playing them. This worked remarkably well, the two standouts are Old Keyring and Disc of Itzamna, both of which did A LOT of work.

Ancestral Knowledge is a beast of a card, just as good as Stick to the Plan is. Drawing 5 extra cards with no cost is easily worth the 6XP. And the requirement to include 10 skills isn't much of a requirement at all.

While i was running the Ancient Stone here, it actually didn't see much play. Leo kept the board empty very well and whenever something spawned right on Minh, Disc took care of it often enough. So Minh was basically just in clue grabbing mode all the time, using Sharp Vision, Winging It and Deduction whenever possible... and Old Keyring when not.

To get stuff in the discard, i could either commit them for icons (Minh makes this very efficient) or discard them to Blood-Rite and Occult Invocation.

All of this is tied together by a good amount of card draw. Might have even been a bit much. I probably should have dropped one of the Sketches and the Cryptic Research in favor of a pair of Pathfinders. Not having any Pathfinder or at least a pair of Shortcuts hurt me quite a bit in the last two scenarios.

In any case, a fine deck that did its job. Scavenging is a fun card, i wish it was playable for more investigators.

Bonus fun fact: The relics from the Innsmouth campaign are Item traited, so Scavenging has some nice soak items to cycle that do not require slots. Dirty :)
