The recent taboo changes turned Telescopic Sight into an actual card, so like many others i was looking for a home to use it in. I decided to go for my favorite big Guardian gun, the BAR. And if i use the BAR with attachments to it, i need Swift Reload as well. So Leo is basically locked in for this.

Getting the whole package of sniper paraphernalia took up so many XP that i basically had to drop Leo's whole ally shtick, though. Kept Lonnie Ritter around so she could repair diving suits in the final scenario. Otherwise i used Beat Cops and Cat Burglars to deal with anything that spawns right in my face. Both are also non-unique so they work with Mitch Brown.

Innsmouth is a great campaign for a build like this. With Marksmanship and Dynamite tucked under Stick to the Plan, you got your range capabilities right from the start and the scenarios really do reward you for being able to snipe things from afar. The BAR specifically does a great job, having it out with an Enchant Weapon on it is dis-gus-ting. The third card on Stick to the Plan is an Emergency Cache which is very much necessary... this deck needs a lot of money to set up.

This deck was part of a two-handed campaign, together with a Scavenging Minh. They won, but it was not without its hurdles. During In Too Deep, the decks weren't going off well enough yet to get all the keys. In fact, i even managed to miss the jailbreak, because the black key spawned on Sawbones Alley and backtracking wasn't feasible anymore. Lair of Dagon was also a VERY close affair, with Minh just barely finishing up before Dagon would awake.

Highlights of the campaign include one-tapping the Aquatic Monstrosity with one shot from one location away (Enchanted BAR + Marksmanship is a casual 7 damage, easily worth using 5 ammo).

Cool deck, way less gimmicky than i would've thought. The BAR is a monster, it's just too bad that you are almost forced to play Leo to use it properly.
