She's halfway through the Dunwich Legacy campaign (on easy mode) and doing very well. Obviously I only have one core set to work with. Who wouldn't want two Ward of Protections?
I seriously considered starting with Scrying but it just feels too slow in solo. All the encounter cards are coming my way, so why waste an action to resort the top three? If you could bury one on the bottom then that could be worth it.
My upgrades so far have been Shrivelling, Peter Sylvestre, Song of the Dead, and a Ritual Candles. I got rid of both Fire Axes and the Rabbit's Foot. I was high on Rise to the Occasion initially but I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. That could turn out to be a card that looks better than it really is.
The Grotesque Statue is on my wish list. Maybe after the next scenario - Blood on the Altar. I'll update this as she progresses. The hardest is yet to come.
Update: She's killing it so far. No defeats and no squid or tablet tokens in the chaos bag! Getting ready to begin the last scenario Lost in Time and Space.
Rather than Grotesque Statue I went for Book of Shadows. She is really dependent on the assets for investigating and fighting.
