This event-heavy Lola is able to grab clues no matter what role she’s in with “Intel Report,” “Drawn to the Flames,” “Read the Signs,” not to mention “Magnifying Glass,” “Dr. Milan Christopher,” and her trusty flashlight.
“Ward of Protection” & “You Handle This One” give her some leeway when the Mythos Phase rolls around.
“Enchanted Blade” & “Dynamite Blast” provide at least the opportunity to do damage.
Finally, “Mr. Rook” allows her to find her weakness more readily, & “Dark Horse” grants a very strong passive boost when she’s out of resources.

Aug 11, 2021If you're running Rook anyway for the weakness-mitigation, how about throwing in astounding revelations? Or is the intentional really to use Milan most of the time, except while weakness-hunting? I see you're also running her as dark horse, but un-Tabooed Milan produces pretty crazy amounts of resources and you also have emergency cache, so I'm not exactly sure how that will work in practice. Are you just planning to keep her as non-seeker in general so he only produces resources when you return to the seeker role & otherwise just acts like a book boost? |
Aug 11, 2021Thank you for your comments/questions! I do foresee sticking with Milan most of the time, and using Rook for weakness mitigation, yes. Thank you for the tip re: Astounding Revelation; I haven’t yet played a yellow investigator and so haven’t checked out these cards fully. This one looks promising. Your intuition is correct: I was planning to not stay in Yellow, since those are the key assets I don’t want to lose. The Dark Horse was the last add-on to provide an alternative stat boost when all else fails (or is going well!). Before DH, I was leaning toward Fine Clothes, and was considering Thermos or Quantum Flux. I appreciate your input!! |
This is my first public deck, and of course I wanted to tackle the worst investigator out there. Feedback appreciated for this pre-taboo deck!
