This deck is pretty straight forward.
You're job is to kill things so that the other players can get the clues they need to finish the game.
Runic Axe is your best weapon especially after you get Saga and Scriptweaver. Machete is a backup and Prepared for the Worst to find it. Both have relevant icons for fighting.
When there are no monsters to kill you can use Kicking the Hornet's Nest and On the Hunt to draw monsters out of the deck.
Everything else in the deck is just to make your teammates have a better time or keep you alive.
