Wendy build specifically made to tackle the Forgotten Age. I run a variant of this build the other night in my second playthrough of it, and was very impressed by how she handled the two scenarios despite their difficulty. I'm not 100% sure how I'd upgrade here since the full campaign isn't out yet, but if I had to surmise...

  1. Charon's Obol and Adaptable 3 XP - Both are very good especially since there are times where certain Level 0 cards in your deck are godlike in one scenario, but useless in another. For example since the Doom of Eztli contains a lot more enemies than the previous scenario, Cheap Shot might be a better option than some of the cards in the deck I'm using.

  2. 2x Lockpicks 2 XP - Basically a required replacement for Flashlight. Easily a must-have, especially since both scenarios are clue-heavy and Wendy isn't necessarily the best at getting clues.

    • Another option I'd like to suggest for 2 XP is 2x Test of Will. The scenarios encounter cards can really bog you down sometimes and this will help address those ones that are serious problems, including ones that can deal you Poison.
  3. 2x Peter Sylvester (Level 2) and 2x Lucky! (Level 2) 8 XP - As per usual, a must-have.

  4. 2x Survival Instict (Level 2) 4 XP - As a replacement for Manual Dexterity, it also helps you get away from those pesky Vengeance enemies as well. It could probably be bought earlier if you have enough XP, but I wouldn't put it at super high priority on the list.

  5. 2x Yaotl and Charisma 5 XP - Another path you can go is run a heavy Ally route, maybe even include Leo De Luca in here if you desire, however I feel like he might be a bit too expensive with all the Event cards I'm using that cost resources and whatnot (as well as the need to power up Fire Axe). Regardless, Yaotl is a very impressive card in his own right and really helps out when things get tough alongside our friend Peter, however i do not suggest getting him before Peter Sylvester (Level 2).

  6. Powerhouse cards (Will to Survive, Key of Ys, Stroke of Luck) - All of these are fantastic options as well, though I wouldn't put him onto too high priority until you get the fundamentals finished first.
    • Another neat option you could utilize for 2 XP is 2x Flare, which seeing as we've seen two story Ally cards so far this scenario might be Ally heavy enough for it to work as a tutor and/or option to fight enemies. Of course this depends on how many Allys we really get. If it's anything like Dunwich, Flare might be a legit option to consider.
