A streamlined Core Set–only refinement of Trish Scarborough for the Chapter 2 (2026) card pool, designed to sharpen her strengths as an evasive clue-focused investigator while keeping the deck approachable and fully playable with a single Core collection. This build focuses on mobility, action efficiency, and staying one step ahead of the encounter deck rather than trying to overpower enemies directly.

Trish excels when she can investigate safely while manipulating enemy positioning, and this deck leans heavily into that identity. Magnifying Glass, Local Map, Deduction, and Working a Hunch provide strong clue acceleration, while Breaking and Entering allows Trish to gather clues and evade enemies simultaneously — often triggering her investigator ability for even more tempo.

Rather than fighting enemies head-on, the deck prioritizes evasion, stealth, and control. Out of Sight, Prestidigitation, Sticky Fingers, and Silver Tongue help Trish slip past danger, generate value from successful agility tests, and maintain momentum without wasting actions. Lucky Cigarette Case and Olivier Bishop further reward successful skill tests by improving consistency and keeping the deck flowing smoothly.

The inclusion of Covert Ops and the M1903 Hammerless gives Trish enough emergency combat capability to handle isolated threats, but the deck’s real strength comes from avoiding situations where brute force is necessary in the first place.

The side deck presents a natural upgrade path as experience is earned throughout a campaign. Upgrading into Out of Sight (3) dramatically improves Trish’s ability to disengage from dangerous situations and reposition safely, reinforcing the deck’s core strategy of staying elusive while continuing to gather clues efficiently.

Overall, this build aims to feel like the ideal “fixed” Core version of Trish Scarborough: clever, slippery, highly efficient, and rewarding for players who enjoy solving scenarios through movement, evasion, and precision rather than direct confrontation.
