The story of this deck starts with a friend of mine that played through Feast around the time it came out as Patrice and generally felt the experience was miserable.

He suggested it was because Patrice has a couple of specific difficulties with Feast in general and I purposed it was due to some poor deck building choices, the immediate ones were trying to rely on Mind's eye and playing cards like Backpack so he could "keep" some of his cards rather than embrace the glory of Patrice which is starting every turn with 5 cards and ending all of them with none, burning all of them for your own glorious purposes.

The deck played like a charm and I only really felt disadvantaged a couple of times when colored enemies were swarming us having me to run away from them aggressively, and in the final scenario that took away Patrice's draw 5 until an ally of mine gracefully did the shaenanigans to bring me back.

Overall the deck had high performance almost every scenario and came especially in clutch in the longest night that quite frankly no one else in the team was well suited for, leading Patrice to step up to the plate and do more than could be reasonably expected of a single investigator in a four man game.

The Deck

The 4 cards that are the most essential to find 1+ of as soon as possible

Drawing Thin, Violin, Cornered, Gift Of Nodens. this deck is in no way bad without them, but they're reliable advantage the deck can really use to it's fullest so the sooner you land 1 or more of them the better, Gift Of Nodens is especially useful as it can recur resourceful to get most of the other cards you could possibly need.

But what do you do in the scenario? Well my friends, a little bit of everything, between Last Chance, Pocket Multi-tool, and the luckies you can generally pass almost any skill test you want to, while the Makeshift traps usually translate to 1-cost fast Dynamites that are easily recurrable via Resourceful/Do or die and the Improvised Event package makes you good at evading, fighting, or investigating as need arises.

Sure, you're a little draw dependent for some specific actions being at their height, but you're almost always doing something and that something is usually going to fill in some hole you're team hasn't done already. You're super self-sufficient as you're able to heal yourself and wander off and back with bonus moves from Loner/Track shoes to deal with almost any problem the game can throw at you.

The Customizable Cards were a part of the theme, I simply asked myself how effective a deck with all of them could be and well... I think all of them were really good and I think some of them are especially nice in Patrice

Pocket-Multi-tool is tapping for luckies or at least +1 most of the time and the amount of times my friends were going "damnit, im failing by 2 or less" and I was able to just say "no you succeed" by exhausting the tool was kinda wild, and that's on top of using it for my own tests.

Makeshift trap is a fast Dynamite with the one caveat of it being end of round instead of immediate, which is better and worse, you can account for Hunter enemies moving into particular locations, thus possibly dealing with an enemy two steps away, but it is a little harder to use on enemies that are about to move and attack in the enemy phase that round, sometimes requiring you to evade a few enemies or motivate your friends to move away to set it up. Good thing we aren't lacking in the tools to do that. It's also funny that because Watcher From another Dimension isn't elite, the traps actually neg it by 1 fight/evade

Grizzled Is kind of crazy and Im a little shocked more people aren't talking about it. It's 3$ against most threats as long as you just name Elite/monster and then when you spend 3 Xp on Nemesis and attaching them making ANY skill test against the enemy, including Parley/Fight/Evade, or even a skill test PRINTED on the enemy. Against Boss monsters this is crazy as you are reducing the difficulty by 1 on what could be 10+ tests against the enemy, and you can even stack them with each other for a -2 which with the upgraded improvised weapon is sometimes getting the difficulty all the way to 0 which is just fantastic.

And this deck has little to fear from horror/damage thanks to the combination of Spirit Of Humanity, Jessica Hyde and Peter Sylvestre, any one of these is already good and if you get all 3 together you're just printing bless tokens every turn you don't need them to heal themselves with.

Overall I would recommend playing Patrice to anyone that has the personal will to simply let go. You don't need to keep cards in hand, No need to plan 2 rounds in advance because every Turn is an exciting puzzle to figure out.
