This is a deck I used in the most recent invocation 2018 event I attended. Although we lost, Carolyn survived to the end and was an integral part of the (near) success of the team.

Your primary goals are to get a "Shriveling" out early and try to get either "physical training" or "first aid" out along with "Well Prepared" . "Kerosine" is just a backup, so if it is between first aid and that, put out "first aid" first.

Carolyn will move and support clue finders by using her naturally high intellect score to pick up occasional clues. She will use pathfinder to move quickly and aid any fellow Investigator who needs healing and also help with some damage dealing using "Shriveling".

Use "Well Prepared" to boost your willpower by tapping "First Aid" 's 2 willpower icons. If you know you won't be fighting, use it for treacheries during the Mythos phase.

Brother Xavier is not a high priority but will help tremendously once he's out, both with damage mitigation for allies and a boost to Carolyn's willpower.

"Foolishness" is also a great idea, even if you aren't able to quickly heal the horror off of him, as you can use "well prepared" to leverage the wild icons for any agility tests and such. Eventually when you heal his horror, the +1 to all stats will be a nice, unexpected boost that will certainly come in handy. If you have the resources available, and can play him along with "moment of respite"

Save your "Ward of Protection" for the most debilitating weaknesses.

And that's it. Carolyn is a great all-rounder who can pick up clues, help in combat, and support her team. She is very fun to play, and I'm confident you'll have fun playing her with this deck.

Wow, this is so different from your other Carolyn deck. Was it # of players, or what? I'm honestly curious: why the immense deviation?

I never usually play with 4 players, so I wanted to have a well-rounded build with more healing and damage mitigation than I normally use due to higher player count (and to help against "To Fight the Black Wind). It worked out pretty well, but you're right: it is definitely not a deck I would use in a 1 or 2 player game (which is my usual).
