I'm sorry, it's illegal to name your deck that. It's against the actual law to make me think about 2G1C.

Initial thoughts after one play through of the scenarios in TCU core set:

  1. Although I took Diana to 5+ willpower fairly easily mid- to late-game I never drew Shrivelling to take advantage of it. She had to rely on her Machete fighting at 4 rather than Shrivelling fighting at 5, 6, or 7 (pimped by St Hubert’s Key). Might swap in a couple of Arcane Initiates to dig. Despite this, Diana held her own thanks to pitching cards to fight tests (thanks Overpower and Vicious Blow!)
  2. Olive is sound for horror soak, her ability is occasionally useful, but she’s expensive to burn to trigger Diana’s ability. Soak 2 horror on her first and have an Arcane Initiate in hand to dig for Shrivelling once she’s gone.
  3. Despite drawing Indebted as my random weakness, Diana’s card / resource draw when you put a card under her meant that I never felt short on resources, despite never playing my Emergency Cache.
  4. Eldritch Inspiration is poor unless you are Shrivelling a lot, which she wasn’t last night. Hypnotic Gaze is poor unless paired with Dark Prophecy, in which case it’s slightly less poor. But if you combo them and pull it off only one of the two cards goes under Diana to pimp her willpower. Defiance (0) rarely triggers. Delay the Inevitable is expensive unless you slap it down to avoid an immediate attack. Then it’s like a more expensive Dodge.
  5. Diana is good, even when I didn’t really get to take advantage of her boosted will power for offense.
