Initial Thoughts:
I finally finished a core campaign run-through with a friend of mine. I want to play it again on my own to try and build some decks on my own since I net-decked the Jim Culver deck I played. I am going to play this run two-handed with Daisy Walker and Jenny Barnes to see how that tandem works.
I tried to make this a tank-y Jenny deck but I'm a little uncertain about it. I like the idea of Leo De Luca and my initial thoughts are that Jenny has enough access to funds that getting him out shouldn't be a problem. I've got seven weapon cards including Jenny's Twin .45s so hopefully she won't find herself defenseless and can keep Daisy alive.
Im not sure from your write up if you are asking for advice or not so please disregard if you werent. A few thoughts incase you find them helpful though:
The term "tank" can mean a few things. There was a recent episode of Mythos busters on the matter that you might find interesting (also its just a nice show tbh - highly recommend them and Drawn to the Flame but thats by the by). In Arkham the traditional "damage soaker" is perhaps less common since killing enemies on site can be more efficient (not to mention satisfying). With 7 weapons + hard knocks, i would be inclined to think you have gone down this route. Another concept would be an evade tank, and Hard Knocks/Sneak Attack/pickpocketing would fit that archtype. While they would have some synergy as a pair, they are also surrogates to some extent. Evade here is probably going to be used on occasional large enemies you cant kill in one go or if you get overwhelmed. This may diminish the advantage of having both options for a large part of the game. The other thing is you can afford to take the odd hit when these things happen ofc.
I would be inclined to include alot more skill cards. The core set double icon + draw icons are really nice in Jenny. They compensate for her 3333 stat line letting you go to 5, and they help her draw into her key cards (basically the pay to boost talent cards). Finally they are free. I know jenny has double the base income, but that gets spent fast when your stat line is low. 7 weapons might be a little over kill here. Things like Overpower can surrogate while your waiting for a weapon to arrive, help you draw it, and boost your attack value on things like derringer/switchblade once you have it in order to get the bonus damage. Similarly, Manual Dex can help you get the evade off successfully to enable sneak attack or pickpocket etc.
I have a few other thoughts but im already feeling a bit preachy so im going to stop. Have fun mate. thats all that matters :) may the elder signs be with you!
