Final version going into Carcosa finale, with Ursula and Sefina.

L3 Thompson + Act of Desperation + Well Maintained is INSANE!

I really like this combo. Not out of theme. probably no OP so much as to remove the fun. Mark feeling as intended. You can use sofie but your not abusing it. Just a solid enjoyable approach. Nice work.

Thanks. Deck started out as an attempt to tank a lot of damage from the other players. Only dropped from 2 to 1 True Grit in last scenario. Id probably put it back in again!

Would you happen to have your lvl 0 version of the deck (especially to see if you were using the .45 Thompson or not and curious to see what you removed to put Brother Xavier)?

Anyway, the final version looks well-balanced, I really like it, well done!

I'm sorry I don't have the 0 xp version.

Brother Xavier was originally another Guard Dog. Yes, I started with the basic Thompson, along with 2 Basic Enchanted Blades. (6 weapons total). I also started with 2 Emergency Caches before I got the Stick To The Plan. At the start I definately had 2 True Grits. I also had the Guardian card that hels for 1 (or 2 if you drew a Treachery that round) but found it really hard to play as a First Action, and I wont put it in if I do this again.

The rough upgrade path would be something like: 2x Thompsons, then Stick to the Plan, then 2x Well Maintained, and the Ever VIgilant. After that, pretty much whatever you want or need.

Stick to the Plan is (not surprisingly) extremely important, allowing you to store Emergency Cache and Ever Vigillant, then one of Act of Desperation or Dynamite Blast. I'd usually leave both AoDs in the deck, as you shouldn't need one until you've probably drawn it.

Hope this helps.

@MelinaPerez Yeah, thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I need to test the .45 Thompson, because I didn't think the lvl 0 version was worth considering, and you are making me doubt that assumption ;-)

I agree that Act of Desperation is good enough to keep it in 2x in the deck.

Oh, right, you meant that you wouldn't put them on Stick to the Plan. That makes sense, I would do the same.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear enough! Glad you understood me!
