Lola Hayes Brings the Whole Crew

I've been testing lots of Lola Hayes decks against Night of the Zealot on Hard, and it's been really difficult to find success. This deck abuses Mr. "Rook" to find Lola's Weaknesses as soon as possible--this frees you up from having to play around them for the rest of the game. The best thing about Mr. Rook looking through nine cards is, when he "fails" to find your weakness, you just get to pick a card that you want... that's the worst outcome!

So, if Mr. Rook is not in your opening hand, you should mulligan all five cards. The sooner you find him, the sooner you plow through your weaknesses and can actually start generating value. It's hard to get "crazy" value with 0 experience, but looping Art Students to soak up damage or discarded assets while also gathering clues is not exactly pitiful.

An ideal use of A Chance Encounter is leading into Calling in Favors so that you can save your returned Ally from being discarded. But it's worth using it for just one activation of Mr. Rook or Art Student, in my opinion.
