For the "20 Damage per turn" maxed out Amanda, check out the end of the path here.

The ultimate goal of the build is to arm yourself with The Necronomicon, along with Ancient Stone and Segment of Onyx to run around the board and deal passive damage whenever you feel like it, and to load up the classic Strange Solution with Amanda's love of practiced skills to deal as much active damage as you ever thought you'd have as a student. And at the end of the day it's mostly very cheap and fast.

All other cards will be meant to search for those cards, or load them up with secrets and supplies. At the end Amanda won't be investigating anymore, she's more interested in kicking butt.

But to get her to that point, we need to boost her survivability and intellect so she can do as well as possible in the Stone deciphering and help out the rest of the team taking clues and getting valuable location xp.

So for now she's a bit tricky but since this is a multiplayer deck, she should make it through the first scenario no problem.

Starting deck

Hand slots

Hawk-Eye Folding Camera, Magnifying Glass and Occult Lexicon. • I had her with 2xCamera to start and I kinda prefer it that way, but the Mag Glass will allow her to get that extra +1 Int earlier so left it this way. You could go 2xMag Glass for quicker investigations or 2XCamera for more defence, up to you. Occult Lexicon is there so she has some form of attack, but if it's 4 player you can maybe ditch it!

Accessory Tooth of Eztli for defence and draw

Ally Whitton Greene is your way to search for the Tooth and Lexicon, but more importantly for what's coming as you build. Plus some soak and a nice INT boost in this version.

Strange Solution ready to investigate

Events all of these are meant to plop supplies or secrets on what's coming up (except Practice Makes Perfect for your skill stash). Knowledge is Power isn't useable for more than the icons at the moment but that will change quickly.

Skills More intellect stuff to start, helping with xp and prepping to decipher Stones.

Upgrade path

2xStrange Solution -> 2x Strange Solution • and the fun begins - Overpower and Vicious Blow already make her a wrecking machine

Occult Lexicon-> The Necronomicon • all the load up cards become more fun

Hawk-Eye Folding Camera & Magnifying Glass -> 2x Ancient Stone • with the Necronomicon and the load ups in play, you can afford to test against a gigantic shroud for the Stones when the time comes

2x Ancient Stone - > 2x Ancient Stone • more reliable passive damage you can rotate in and out with each other, Necronomicon in the other hand.

2x Whitton Greene -> 2x Whitton Greene • better search engine and nice Will boost

2x Tooth of Eztli & 1x Deduction- > 3x Segment of Onyx • you need less Deduction with the Necronomicon in play and something has to go to get the 3rd segment in. Also searchable from Greene.

1x Deduction & 1x Emergency Cache - > 2x Emergency Cache • for loading up the Solutions

2x Perception -> 2x Truth from Fiction • don't need Perception after you've gotten the upgraded Stones and are starting to just fight everything that moves; so the upgraded TfF can throw secrets on any of your secret-based items, ideally the Necronomicon.

2x Overpower - > 2x Overpower • better fighting, better draw for more Stone action while fighting

2x Vicious Blow -> 2x Vicious Blow • more damage

2x Studious • more cards!

Final card

finally I had Skeptic in for Inquiring Mind or Stunning Blow, but if you don't have a bless/curse bag you can just pick the last skill as you like.

A hilarious deck when she's dealing massive damage every turn. Who needs investigating??

Took the majority of this deck design into the Innsmouth campaign with a less-than-ideal companion Trish (we planned our upgrades ahead of time to ensure we weren’t going for the same cards) and we had a blast through the first two scenarios. I’m now with the Necronomicon and Segement of Onyx and ready for what’s to come! Great deckbuilding here.

Hey thanks @truthwritten, great to hear! Hadn't considered specific companions so interesting to hear about the Trish partnership.
