I am building a deck for Agnes to pair with either Jenny Barnes or Ashcan Pete using the Revised Core set and Dunwich cards. Both of them can do a bit of fighting and seeking, so our plan was to try a campaign with two balanced investigators just to try how that would go. I have 32 cards, and I have reasons for all of them, and I cannot figure out what card to drop. I will list my reasons for each card. I am looking for feedback on what I can afford to drop.bI have never played as a mystic before, and I have done maybe 4 or 5 campaigns total.

Assets -

Rite of Seeking - obviously for investigating

Shrivelling - obviously for fighting

Holy Rosary - My deck has a bunch of cards that give horror so I want extra soak, and I would like some constant skill boosts for both the encounter deck and my previous two assets.

Peter Sylvestre - Great ally for Agnes, which people already know.

Forbidden Knowledge - My deck is expensive and this pairs well with Agnes' ability.

Painkillers - I chose this over Leather Coat to help activate Agnes'ability.

Events -

Lucky - This might be my favorite card in the game and I pretty much always take it when possible. Just so versatile and allows skill tests with less margin for error.

Look what I found! - Help with seeking on low shroud locations to save Rite of Seeking, which only has three charges.

Delve Too Deep - I think this card sounds super useful, especially with Ward of Protection. I really want to try it out.

Drawn to the Flame - Resource and test free clues sound awesome! Also have Ward of Protection to deal with it a bit.

Ward of Protection - Great card in general, and especially if I plan on using Drawn to the Flame and Delve Too Deep. Horror goes great with Agnes.

Moonlight Ritual - I plan on upgrading to Blood Pact.

Emergency Cache - Mystics are expensive!

Skills - Guts - To boost Agnes' best stat which I will use for both seeking and fighting using my assets. I also don't have any help with card draw besides this.

Unexpected Courage - For those situations you don't see coming.

Fearless - I have so many horror taking cards I feel like it's necessary.

So I like having all these cards, and kind of think they are all necessary and have decent synergy. I don't know what to drop. I have three cards - Rite of Seeking, Look what I found!, and drawn to the Flame - for seeking and both Emergency Cache and and Forbidden Knowledge for resources, so maybe I drop one of these, but I feel like I need them. The three seeking cards all have slightly different uses and the deck is quite expensive such that I feel I need resources.

I am thinking of buying Blood Pact (If I don't do this the answer is obvious, which is to drop Moonlight Ritual, but this feels like a fun strategy to try to employ) and upgrading Fearless, Peter Sylvestre, Shrivelling, Rite of Seeking, Ward of Protection, and maybe Lucky.

Any advice?

So I've gotten a lot of reddit advice to drop Moonlight Ritual, and possibly to replace Look what I've Found and then Emergency Cache. But always open to any other feedback!

Jenny or Pete's 5 cards quota can include Liquid Courage to heal horror from Agnes as well, if you want to cut some more horror healing from this deck or go more aggressive with Forbidden Knowledge.

Also I think Guts won't be that useful, Fearless 1 icon and Holy Rosary should be enough push especially if you will be getting spell with built-in boosts like Shrivelling 3 or Rite 2. Manual Dexterity maybe better to utilize her 3 agi to Evade and extend fighting to next round (or skip damage treachery). Assuming you are playing Standard.
