Akachi Onyele (forgotten age)

The deck i took through Forgotten Age. 2 player game, blind for me, not for my brother, who used Rita Young. I didn't draw Living Ink very often, but in the last game, i gave it to Rita Young, who made great use of it with her evade - Dirty Fighting - Chainsaw battle plan. That Chainsaw is the main reason i upgraded Emergency Cache, so i can refill it for her, though that never actually happened.

Seal of the Elder sign, tough expensive, was great. I used it a few times to succeed on something difficult but important, while having an empty investigation spell, that i thus could get 1 more use from, which was enough.

The main difficulty with this deck, is when i don't start a session with an investigate spell in hand. Despite hard mulliganing for one always, it happened a few times, and that really held up momentum in the beginning of a session.

A few times, when i had Grotesque Statue, Holy Rosary and Living Ink out, I just felt unstoppable.

A quick summary of the end of a scenario that i fondly remember: I needed to successfully use clairvoyance twice, and then make a will test of 4. I only had 1 charge on clairvoyance left, buy i could still do it all with guaranteed success. Thanks to bonuses, only the tentacles would make me fail any of these tests. First investigate, committed Seal of the Elder Sign for success and extra charge. Second investigate, using Grotesque Statue for success. Well test of 4, again Grotesque Statue for success. SPOILER ALERT: Act completed, Happy ending, campaign over, going back in time whaaaaat??? scenario not over??? one more session!!!
