Sefina Rousseau out of the asylum - No Assets

This deck is so much fun! This is part of what I'm calling my Groundhog Day in Carcossa solo play. Basically, I'm making different Sefina decks and trying them out against Carcossa until I can actually win one. After the first playthrough, where a more sensible Sefina deck went insane and was locked up in the Asylum, subjected to cruel and unnecessary procedures, she has woken up back in the theatre - confused, traumatised, and with none of her usual resources to call on except her wits and will.

Right from the start you are basically a turn ahead - no need to stand around pulling fancy clothes out of your backside. To be fair, I did buy Streetwise early on. 'But Pete! That's an asset!' I know, I know! But it starts in play so it doesn't change the first turn bonus. Plus, it's a damn good card! If you want to do a purest playthrough, you are a grown arse person who can make their own decisions. You do you!

With nothing to soak damage, how do you stay alive? You run like the dickens. You hit it hard and take as much horror as you can. Did you say TAKE horror? Why, yes I did little Jimmy! ruffles hair If you are going to get taken out by something you do your darnedest to make sure you take mental trauma over physical.

Why so many different cards, when the traditional wisdom is to take two of everything you need? I laugh in the face of your traditional wisdom. Who wants a deck of effectively 15 cards? Boring! Let a little spice in your life. Plus, you know, The Painted World lets you reuse them anyway.

Be sure you know which cards are best in your hand, ie Delve Too Deep, anything that is unlikely to be needed multiple times, like Eavesdrop. Is it perfect? Hell no. I found myself very quickly leaning towards Agility events over Willpower. 'Does it work in multiplayer?' Do I look like a wizard? How would I know? I mean, probably. The deck isn't cursed or anything.
