It's such a thematic weapon for Jenny, but it serves as nothing more than a stop-gag until getting either the upgraded Switchblade or Jenny's Twin .45s. How is your experience with Sure Gamble? Did it save Jenny's skin often enough to warrant including it over Hot Streak or Ace in the Hole?
Jul 05, 2017 yogibbear · 96 Yeah I hate the .41 but needed a weapon, and also want to keep this decklist working if someone wants to play 3 player, so not taking an out of class weapon to replace it. Basically the Switchblade as you say does all the work unless you can pull the Twins. Sure Gamble definitely paid off. And I only realised how good it was once I read the FAQ that it modifies the symbols as well. So even though sometimes the bad text still triggers if it's not an "if this skill test fails", I prefer the "after you reveal" seeing if the test will pass versus not knowing if it'll pass. The next upgrades to include are definitely bringing in Hot Streak x 2 once I get another 6xp as pumping to boost skills is how I've been playing Jenny. So hopefully at least one comes in after Blood on the Altar. Really hoping Jenny gets some more weapon love in Path to Carcosa.
