This deck is part of a two to four-deck combination, paired with a Joe Diamond deck and optionally a Diana Stanley deck and a Zoey Samaras deck. The underlying concept behind these decks is to use Riot Whistle to pass enemies back and forth, allowing the team to continue working to attack the scenario efficiently. In essence, instead of having to pause dealing with the scenario when an enemy appears, the decks use Riot Whistle at the end of their turns to take enemies from other investigators, so those investigators can take their own turns without attacks of opportunity.

Joe Diamond uses Pathfinder to move, and the other investigator(s) use Safeguard to follow him, allowing for efficient movement through the scenario and good use of support abilities while avoiding the risk of any one investigator getting caught on their own and ambushed. Since the investigators are ideally all going to be in the same location alongside enemies, everyone can use Scene of the Crime for maximum effect, and all investigators have On the Hunt to maximise enemy draw. 19 exp has been chosen as a good break-point, especially since this is more likely to be a fun one-time gimmick for a standalone scenario.

Yorick's job in the team is to deal with enemies and take the heat for the group. Instead of directly attacking enemies, he uses Riot Whistle to engage enemies and kills them in the Enemy phase with a combination of Aquinnah and Survival Knife. Trench Knife prevents any opportunity attacks from engaging enemies. Second Wind and Aquinnah counteract damage and horror (the latter replayed over and over with Yorick's ability), while Brute Force can be used to thin out the herd if there are too many enemies to reliably handle in the Enemy Phase or to put extra damage on boss enemies. Stunning Blow works well alongside the high potential for combat boosts from Trench Knife to evade enemies that you don't want to kill (such as Boa Constrictor), to further manage boss enemies, or to give the group a turn or two of breathing room if there's a big swarm of enemies all at once. In a 2-player game, it might be best to use the .18 Derringer in place of Survival Knife to allow proactive enemy management alongside Aquinnah.

Upgrades from here include Safeguard (2) to make setup easier and allow the team to safely move more than 2 spaces in a round, upgraded Overpower, upgraded Oops! or replacing it with Unexpected Courage (2), and potentially another copy of Relic Hunter to take Cherished Keepsake (1) for additional horror soak.

In a 2-player game in particular, Yorick could be replaced with Tommy Muldoon, either dropping Aquinnah or taking Aquinnah (1), and using Spiritual Resolve for even more soak.
