Starts off flex-ish with the focus on fighting, then upgrades to fighting only. I decided to do it this way because if things go south in Night of the Zealot, fighting is better than getting clues. (And if we're doing core only, well, we're probably playing NotZ).

The deck doesn't have good economy, problems of the core set, I guess.

Upgrades:

(This one could be delayed, because it's really costly, but also really good)

x2 "Look what I found!" -> x2 Grotesque Statue

(I'm not quite sure on these. I feel like we need those, but I'm not sure how much of a priority they are, and how many of them to use, and what to cut)

x2 Drawn to the Flame -> x1 Elder Sign Amulet, x1 Bulletproof Vest

x2 Blinding Light

x2 Lucky!

Noteworthy, I considered cutting Scrying, but decided against it. Firstly, we want to have many spells, to decrease the odds of finding our weakness when using Arcane Initiate. Secondly, it's just a good card, I feel.

For what scenario is that?

As I say in the description, this is a Core set only deck, so we're probably playing Night of the Zealot with it. Night of the Zealot is the name of the campaign in the Core Set. I played this deck in that campaign with 2 other players, and we managed to win!

I was fighting and gathering clues in the first 2 scenarios, then hard pivoted to fighting only for the last one. I think in general Agnes is better suited for fighting if we're only doing a small card pool, but with a bigger collection she can flex well.

I think this deck can be played in basicaly any campaign, but it would could be improved a lot with a bigger collection.
