Rex Murphys way to Dunwich

Default information: Rex build for a 4player Dunwich campaign with Wendy, Jenny and Zoey. Cards up to Blood on the Altar because German releases were a little bit delayed because of their initial translation and so we have got a bunch of packs in a short time.

Deck: With three strong Girls on his side Rex can do what he ca do best: gather clues!

Card choices: Dr. Milan Christopher and Magnifying Glass will boost his intellect to 6 so Rex can use his special skill and gather two clues in one action. Arcane Studies and Hyperawareness will transfer his resources gained through Milan into the skills needed except combat and mostly will guarantee two clues at locations with higher shroud.

Old Book of Lore, Preposterous Sketches and Search for the Truth enables enough card draw to get the cards needed.

Mind over Matter and "I've got a plan!" are the emergency cards if the board is full of enemies and no clues are reachable or found.

Burglary and Scavenging fit perfectly with his special skills and enables a nice combo with Milan and the items in this deck. If there is only one clue left Rex can even find it while burgling and can get one clue, 4 resources (with Milan) and find some of his lost item for skills test. This will even work better if there are some xp spent in Disc of Itzamna or Bulletproof Vest or similiar cards.

Strange Solution is only for the first game will be replaced with other (XP) cards when the solution was found. Who is not curious if this card will have some effect in the campaign. ;)

Emergency Aid is a joker which can be replaced easily but i think it is not bad to heal himself or somebody else in an emergency situation. It can also be used for allies.

While the campaign is ongoing i will update my deck and my choices.

Update:

The House always wins solved: Higher Education replaces Arcane Studies for its superoir effect. Perhaps i should not have added Arcane studies and instead used one other out of faction card because it was my first replacement. I will use one xp later to get a card for the unused cardslot.

Pathfinder is such a great card because of its free action. Autoinclude for ech seeker.

The solution for the Strange Solution was found and the card can be replaced wirh further xp. Till then it will used for skill tests with its wild icon and scavenged for multiple uses.
