This is a deck I made with a goal to take as much advantage of the synergy between Sleight of Hand, Act of Desperation and all the cards with charges as possible. Jim proved to be the perfect investigator for this. I use it for playing solo but I think it will work as a allrounder in a multiplayer situation as well.

The best target for Sleight is of course the Enchanted Blade (or Timeworn Brand which is perfect for Jim and should be your first upgrade). The perfect combo would be putting the Blade (or even better - the Brand) into play with Sleight, attacking with it twice and then using Act of Desperation to toss it at your enemy to earn some resources.

Another good targets for the Act are used Flashlights and/or Jim's Trumpet (and that's where the deck's name comes from) and it sure is kind of fun to kill a ghoul with a trumpet.

Also - I have found out that Painkillers work really good with Sleight of Hand because as experience shows usually when you really need them you just don't have the time to play them. Sleight solves that problem.

Another great card to use with Sleight of Hand to which Jim has access is of course the Grotesque Statue which is also high on the upgrade priority list.

And when you use all your Sleights and Acts then you got a perfect solution - use Quantum Flux and start all over. Quantum also works nicely with Alyssa Graham - when you find out that the top card of your deck is the dreaded Final Rhapsody just flux it and shuffle your deck.

Another way of dealing with enemies are Mists of R'lyeh which give you also a nice tempo boost which is often crucial in solo.

Alyssa, Flashlights and Drawn to the Flame should be more than enough to efficiently investigate.

How to spend your exp in order of priority:

Quantum FluxTimeworn Brand

Both Enchanted BladesEnchanted Blade

Unexpected CourageGrotesque Statue

Then you can upgrade Fearless and/or Mists of R'lyeh. You can also consider buying Elusive instead of Fight or Flight (if playing with the Taboo rules) but that depends on the scenario you are playing.

Have fun and let me know your thoughts!
