This is a deck built off a theme, and that is to have as many cats out as possible and to be able to pass as many tests as possible. Considering this is a highly themed concept deck, I do feel like it is lacking in Horror soak/heal because Patrice will be reshuffling a lot due to her ability. Perhaps the upgrading of MoonstoneCherished Keepsake would be a nice addition, or you could even go St. Hubert's Key if you want the little more risk.

The Crazy Cat Lady can also be built as either a fighter or cluver, however I do think she works better as a cluver. If you wish to build her as a fighter, just simply substitute Sixth Sense and Rite of Seeking for aggressive spells, and Belly of the BeastSpectral Razor.

To increase survivability, we have Sword Cane which allows her to fight or evade using , and combine that evade with Belly of the Beast to snag a clue while you're at it. Wither is available to weaken monsters to make them easier to fight for others, or to kill those rats when they pop up.

Because each upkeep, Patrice Hathaway discards her hand, you need to lower your resource costs, so we have Voice of Ra to gain resources, and Uncage the Soul to play those spells and rituals at a massive reduced cost. Don't forget to play Moonstone after you discard it during the upkeep.

To pass tests, we have Mind's Eye, Lucky!, Live and Learn, Ritual Candles, Eucatastrophe, and The Black Cat, as well as all those juicy skill cards like Promise of Power.

So whats the upgrade path?

First thing, is that this is a crazy cat lady deck, so lets get that portion of her up and running first. Purchase 1 Relic Hunter, and replace 2 Unexpected Courage2 Rod of Animalism

Next, lets turn 1 Stray CatMiss Doyle, and start saving exp to replace 2 Dark Prophecy2 The Black Cat, this can be done one at a time.

Now that we have 9(!) cats in our deck (2 Familiar Spirit, 1 Miss Doyle, 1 Stray Cat, 2 The Black Cat, 1 Hope, 1 Augur, & 1 Zeal), let's make it better at what it does.. investigating. 2 Rite of Seeking2 Rite of Seeking.

Now that we can investigate, lets make the encounter deck irrelevant. 2 Emergency Cache & 1 Stray Cat3 Mind's Eye. Yes, im aware this will bring our total cats down to 8, but you need to be able to pass tests, right? This upgrade could also be taken after or before you purchase The Black Cat if you are struggling with tests.

Finally, lets make Patrice Hathaway's discard mechanic a little better by upgrading 2 Delve Too Deep2 Eucatastrophe, and then turn 2 Guts2 Fearless for some horror heal action economy.

If you have extra exp to spend beyond these suggestions, Rite of Seeking is a nice option.
