DAISY - The Book worm
**
Daisy deck built for a blind run of Path to Carcosa, solo-two handed with William.
I have found this deck very strong, thematic, and capable of handling more than just clue gathering.
The initial boost to XP gains, especially through the combination of Shrewd Analysis and Down the Rabbit Hole was insane, allowing her to quickly go beyond the expected XP curve for the campaign. Upgrading the 6 translatable/identifiable cards (Archaic Glyphs; Dream Diary, and Strange Solution ) only costed 7xp!
Studious was initially bought through In the Thick of It. Not necessary, but in line with the book worm theme, plus generally useful to ensure I could get the identifiable cards early in the campaign.
In terms of upgrades, priority was given to the translated/identified cards and giving priority to upgrade at least 2 cards per scenario to use Down the Rabbit Hole at his max.
For Assets, Old Book of Lore with consistency and making use of Daisy extra Tome action, upgrading it quickly also helped with economy.
Whitton Greene has also been a solid upgrade done early.
Other upgrades were slowly built in, like Deduction and Shortcut . Then of course also Guts and Perception.
After a few scenarios I slowly added a couple of big entries, such as the The Necronomicon and Prophesiae Profana. The first just a strong tome, the second ended up becoming a saving grace in a couple of late scenario.
Enraptured upgraded was mostly aimed at the Necronomicon.
I ended up not going for the allies route (Abigail Foreman + Miskatonic Archaeology Funding) as I already had a lot of assets.
In terms of what I dropped to make space for the new cards it was Research Librarian (x2), Delve Too Deep (as the campaign advanced).
To note that William helped her with Economy with Stand Together and, initially with "I'll take that!" (for monsters). However, after the different upgrades (Glyphs and Solution) the latter became no longer necessary
