This deck was created for a blind standalone play of Guardians of the Abyss trying to maximize Silas power. The party was completed with Diana Stanley, Ursula Downs and Akachi Onyele so the main purpose was to keep everybody alive and out of peril while everybody found their pieces of the puzzle.

Piloting the deck is quite simple, mulligan to Peter Sylvestre and Grisly Totem (Try and Try Again is in the deck just to cover while Grisly Totem is not out) and then start fighting/evading using the skills freely. At some point you will draw Take Heart or True Survivor and you will keep following the same plan over and over while the rest of the team have the time to prepare.

"Look what I found!" adds a bit of clue gathering (and combine very well with Take Heart) in case the don't draw Rite of Seeking and A Test of Will deepen in the "keep everybody safe" motto

Looking back after playing Rise to the Occasion was unplayable (just not enough high difficulty tests on the scenarios) and Fearless a bit overkill having Peter Sylvestre (any other skill would have done better, probably "Not without a fight!", Able Bodied or Quick Thinking). Drawing Thin would have probably be a good inclusion but money was never a real problem, even when drawing The 13th Vision.
