"Leo!" Jenny kicked at her friend's shin. "Excellent. Now that I've got your attention, kindly stop scratching on the ground with your foot."

"I wasn't-" The handsome man glanced down and saw an unfinished symbol. "Damnations. It's even the same as the ones we trampled over just now. We should leave!"

"We should, but not before thoroughly thrashing this cavern," Jenny knocked over one of the torch-holders. "I should've brought more dynamite."

"I'll remind you the next-" Leo bit his tongue. "Why would I even think that? There won't be a next time. We've won. We've stopped these robe-clad sigil-drawing idiots."

"Somehow, I doubt that." The woman said gently, without bitterness. "It's still unclear if this cult has any connection with the ones who took Izzie. We'll check on Ms. Devereux, interrogate her again if she wasn't too badly burned. Plus, we need to backtrack and check out those picnic baskets."

"Yeah," Leo mused. "Those were weird. Then again, it wouldn't be too out of place for someone to leave them there and run off after hearing an explosion in the woods and we really didn't have the time to look for tracks back then."

"One detail did stood out."

"You mean that pair of red gloves? Or the quiche? Honestly, I'd be partial to some quiche. Maybe that red-gloved guy brought some wine with him as well? Mhhh..."

Jenny nodded. It would keep his mind off the arcane sigil and her mind of Izzie for the evening. In the meantime, she ripped the ornamented curtain and then stomped on it.

BTW, these double Guts pitched to double madness-inducing threats and leading into double Emergency Caches? Both were Elder Signs Tokens.

I don't remember ever finishing The Devourver Below so cleanly.

No way! You are telling that on 2 consecutive (!) tests you pitched the same (!) card, drew the very exact same (!) token from the bag AND as a result of the skill card redrew the very fucking insane same (!) card????? - This is just.... just.... wow! Someone call for Dr. Maleson, i would REALLY like to know the mathematical odds - i wouldn't be surprised if they were in the range of a direct lightning hit.

Did not i call her Boom-boom Barnes last time? Seems nomen est omen, again.... these Criminals just don't understand what they are messing around with! Throwing explosives around - they could accidentally have killed an innocent family having a peaceful picnic instead! Perhaps they did - who would know if these robed men in front of that cave were not LARP.... uhm... some harmless people playing hide and seek?

Of course the thing that pleases me most of your campaign was the successful ending. I did not doubt it for a pinch of a second! Jenny and her boyfriend with the ADHD ... uhm... with these bumblebees in his ass are a couple out of heaven! That she will continue her personal quest to find Izzie is out of the question - Wendy and i am devouring every newspaper we can find with information about your deeds - keep it goin', babe!
