This is the Jenny Barnes deck which stars alongside Patrice Hathaway in HEXBREAKER, a video playthrough of The Circle Undone on YouTube. The first episode is located here:

This deck focuses on using one-handed weapons to deal damage and Fingerprint Kit to discover clues, along with various useful assets like Hallowed Mirror and Liquid Courage to stay alive and sane. Lone Wolf provides Jenny with extra resources, and Well Connected is a great repeatable bonus to any skill once Jenny is set up and doesn't really need her 2-3 resources each round to pay for things.

Jenny also has a good number of skill cards spread among all four icons, so she can focus her resources on assets and her few events. Between Intel Report, Fingerprint Kit, Leo De Luca, and Tennessee Sour Mash, these are some pretty expensive cards, so Jenny makes up for that here by skimping on events in favor of extra skill cards, which cost nothing. I have always found Slip Away to be a very efficient way to "lock" an enemy for a turn, and Cheap Shot is pretty slick for dealing with 3-health enemies by spreading out the effort needed to defeat it.

Mulligan Priorities:

These are the cards Jenny likes to see in her opening hand. Not all at once, of course! But these are the ones which will drive her first few turns of actions. Note that Jenny's Twin .45s isn't on here. This is because the Twin 45s are a late-game card for when there's no more cluing to be done and it's time to focus on the shooting, when Jenny can dump a ton of resources into enough ammunition to fight whatever shows up.

Upgrades:

Adaptable is essentially a Rogue class feature. This lets Jenny rework her deck for the next scenario, to adjust to her role in the group, or to account for changes to the rest of her deck.

Lola Santiago is an excellent, excellent Ally, as she provides two stat bonuses and actionless clues.

Another Day, Another Dollar can essentially replace Emergency Cache in that it provides free resources on the best turn to have them. Leo de Luca on the first turn is an excellent momentum play as well.

Streetwise is always a good decision, though 8XP is a lot when using the Taboo list. It also frees up the need for Cunning.

Pickpocketing is great for if Jenny finds herself evading a lot, and Stealth can very efficiently back up an evasion strategy.

If the Level 0 version is working out, then Tennessee Sour Mash is a great upgrade.

Switchblade and .41 Derringer are great weapon upgrades. Swapping from Enchanted Blades to Switchblades also frees up two of her off-class slots for solid cards like Vicious Blow, Deduction, Drawn to the Flame, Take the Initiative, or Winging It. Or, the Enchanted Blades can be left in if she wants more weapons in her deck.

Chicago Typewriter is a great weapon, but only if Jenny isn't needed to focus on investigation with her Fingerprint Kits.

And finally, Bulletproof Vest is useful if Jenny is finding herself in a lot of damaging combats as the campaign rolls on.

So, if you're looking for a Jenny Barnes deck that can do investigation, combat, and evasion, check this one out!
