This is my attempt at a combat-focused Silas Marsh deck for multiplayer. I would love feedback from more experienced players with ideas or suggestions!

(Note. I am only using cards that I own. I do not own all the decks yet)

Maybe you should try to focus a bit more on certain cards. For example, if you wanna run Dark Horse then you should make a Fire Axe your main weapon. Also, i would remove Dig Deep from this deck as it is not a very good card, as you do not need to boost your AGI and WILL as you can easily boost them with your skill cards.

Some cards that i almost always include in my Silas decks on lvl 0: Stunning Blow, Quick Thinking, Track Shoes, "Look what I found!", and sometimes Backpack.

Thank you for your comment. I see what you are saying. I totally looked over fire axe. I don't have forgotten age player cards, so i wanted to build out of the cards that I own on paper

That deck is nice and it should work out fine for you!

I think your deck is well rounded, Schoffner's Catalogue will pay for your Meat Cleaver and Sea Change Harpoon, while keeping your Dark Horse up. Your 5 starting resources will pay for Dig Deep, Dark Horse or Peter Sylvestre.

Maybe one challenge you will have: you will probably want to take the resource during the upkeep phase, to spend it on Lucky! or Dig Deep if you have a test on a treachery card. But if you draw an enemy instead, you will be stuck with that resource, and it will not trigger Dark Horse.

A quick fix for this will be to upgrade to Scrapper early.

Good job on the deck building and have fun!

Some suggestions:

  1. How can a survivor player reject Take Heart...Cherished Keepsakecan be replaced by Grisly Totem. At later game you can even upgrade the totem Grisly Totem to get your Take Heart back
  2. Gutsand Unexpected Courage is also not necessary. There are many other better innate card like Quick Thinking. Peter Sylvestre could relax your pressure for Sanity.
  3. Survivor investigators mainly resource approach is from your failure like Drawing Thin+Track Shoes + Take Heart. Most of Sylas cards are skill cards and there are not many assets that need to be played. Dig Deep, Dark Horse and Schoffner's Cataloguecan be removed. But if your focus on the Dark Horse build, then for the weapon Fire Axe is better.
  4. Some other recommend cards: Waylay and Will to Survive. Your pile only includes three weapons, better add 1~2 more like Baseball Bat.
  5. A combo for later game: Spend 1 supply and using Chainsaw to attack --> fail the test 3 or less -->Play 2 Oops! --> Deal 6 damage and place 1 supply back on Chainsaw -->Play Live and Learn and attack again, this time +2 skill -->commit Quick Thinking and other skill cards DaringOverpower to ensure succeed --> 3 damage -->then spend rest of your actions to use Chainsaw to attack

You'll likely get better use from Manual Dexterity then guts. Make sure you're playing to your strengths; Silas is excellent at evading monsters, and he loves skills which are conducive to that strategy. Also, your curve is quite high, meaning you may end up with a lot of cards in hand without the resources to play them. You can upgrade into some great cards to remedy this, but at level 0 maybe consider something like Emergency Cache
