Expected update path:

Archaic Glyphs --> Archaic Glyphs (2*3xp)

Mind over Matter --> Book of Shadows (2*1xp) (probably not worth it)

Ward of Protection -->Ward of Protection (2*2xp)

____12xp

Fingerprint Kit --> Deciphered Reality (2*5xp)

Delve Too Deep --> Eidetic Memory (3xp)

Quantum Flux --> De Vermis Mysteriis

____18xp

Painkillers --> Bulletproof Vest (2*3xp)

Trying to achieve an efficient build requiring very little setup to get going, which is allowed by Daisy's high base . Currently going through Standard Dunwich with a Roland Banks mate.

With just one of your 4-cost assets out you should be ready to pass most tests quite confidently. We pack up everything that uses t instead of normal skills to pass occasional fight or evade (through investigating with Archaic Glyphs

In your opening hand Dr. Milan Christopher, St. Hubert's Key or Fingerprint Kit, and Archaic Glyphs and Scroll of Prophecies are what you mulligan for, and you will also probably want to mulligan awayQuantum Flux, Delve Too Deep and "I've got a plan!" which do not usually serve much purpose at the start of a scenario.

Outside of assets we pack a lot of relatively cheap utility Insight events that call for Eidetic Memory later on as an upgrade. De Vermis Mysteriis is also an option, but I have not tried it yet.

I am not completely sold yet on Dr. Milan Christopher in this deck because you do not need a big economy at all except for your 4+2 gold setup, so Alyssa Graham might be an option with a bit of added utility and horror soak.

Not really sold either about Book of Shadows, which only purpose was to refill Archaic Glyphs. In the end you dont investigate that often with the Glyphs, and Knowledge is Power already allows to save some charges, so I would probably skip it in anoter campaign.

Despite a bit of protection physical damage remains a very high threat and I am not sure Painkillers are the right answer pre-Bulletproof Vest ; Medical Texts would seem like a good option for Daisy but the hand slot and risk of additional damage we cannot really afford to take makes me unsure about it.

Low on books but most options do not seem appealing enough and way too niche compared to Scroll of Prophecies.

Any tips or comments will be more than welcome !

Having now gone through the full Dunwich campaign using this build (as mentioned, played duo with a Roland Banks mate), I am quite satisfied about the way it played, but there are a few things that I initially planned that should be changed.

Quantum Flux never was actually useful, "I've got a plan!", as much as I like its flavor, was only occasionally useful to make up for guardian combat failures, and could not always be used without planning due to its quite high cost.

Book of Shadows is quite useless, however Encyclopedia proved incredibly good as the less fancy, way more reliable option

Not a surprise at all, Scroll of Prophecies proved to be an incredibly efficient draw engine

This looks like a great deck to build for one of my friends who is new to Arkham but about to start Dunwich with me! We're playing a 4-player game and St Hubert's key is already in my Carolyn deck, any recommendations for a replacement?

Hey, thanks for stopping by ! First you may want to look at the "educated" version of this deck (see "inspiration for" section on the left panel). That is a slightly updated version of this deck after a full campaign playthrough.

As for a replacement for St hubert's key, there isnt really an obvious answer since it was mostly there for its flat +1 intelligence. Id say you can just go with magnifying glasses instead, but your hand slots are quite tight, so another solution could be getting a Dr Milan Christopher with a Charisma to enable him, at the expense of some xp.
