Overview
Sefina deck with the following additional restrictions:
- No "OP" cards (e.g. Lone Wolf)
- Max. 6 "good" cards (Drawn to the Flame, Shrivelling, Emergency Cache)
- Min. 6 "bad" cards (Arcane Studies, Daring Maneuver, Defiance)
I'll be testing this in a 3 player game with Skids and Jenny soon. This is a pretty bad deck/party, so don't expect too much!
General Strategy
- Use arcane initiate to find your spells (Drawn to the Flame, The Painted World, Shrivelling, etc.)
- Play all of your events
- Recur them with Quantum Flux (NB: you can't recur The Painted World this way)
- Play David Renfield if you need resources or willpower
- Remove doom from allies with Calling in Favors or Moonlight Ritual
- Daring Maneuver and Defiance are added mainly for the icons, but Daring Maneuver also combos with Quick Thinking
- Scrying can be used to (inefficiently) scout for your weakness, then use a forced shuffle (Calling in Favors or Moonlight Ritual)
Upgrades
Good upgrades (in no specific order):
- Adaptable (because Fine Clothes is really strong in certain scenarios, and to tweak things in this deck)
- Hot Streak (from Emergency Cache)
- Sneak Attack
- Ace in the Hole
- The Gold Pocket Watch
- Emergency Cache (because I don't have this classified as a "good" card, freeing up space for other cards)
Okay upgrades:
Thing's I'm Not Running...
... because of the extra restrictions, in case you're wondering why they aren't included.
- Charisma
- Holy Rosary (David Renfield tries to serve this purpose)
- Lone Wolf
- Rite of Seeking
- Moxie
- Lockpicks
- Flashlight
You're saying "no OP" cards, then why did you include Arcane Initiate? She's way better than Lone Wolf in my opinion. But who is to rate cards as "OP" anyway? This isn't a competetive game with Ban Lists...
