This is my support rogue build. Meant to be paired with a guardian and/or someone with high willpower; most preferably in a group of four with a well balanced team and a proper seeker in the mix, but if not that opens up room for a copy of Dr. Milan Christopher. "Let me handle this!" and a good pal for "You handle this one!" are essential. Daisy is a favorite of mine in general and can provide healing and a Ward of Protection in desperate times while Finn helps her afford a more expensive build and offer her some Liquid Courage to cope with the horrors of the arcane and the burden of being lead.

Most choices for Finn are pretty intuitive so I'll just briefly explain what's pretty unique here. This deck runs extremely asset heavy, particularly "item" and "supply" heavy with 2 copies of Backpack. This deck is designed so there are statistically always at least 2, and likely 3, targets for Backpack on every play as well as plenty of targets for Smuggled Goods; as such, Emergency Cache and its upgrades take a bit higher priority than Hot Streak since Backpack can pull it out. This is a deck specialized in reducing variance through card search and offering recursion via Scavenging and Smuggled Goods.

On top of that, it is a Charisma spec with a rarely used ally in Charles Ross, Esq. I don't feel like he gets used often and especially when he's competing with alternatives like Leo De Luca, Dr. Milan Christopher, Peter Sylvestre, and Dario El-Amin.

If someone were to look at those choices, Dario El-Amin and Charles Ross, Esq. probably wouldn't be prioritized, and I'm still experimenting. I'm still on the fence but the other ally I'd want to run is Peter Sylvestre who is sought after by other players and takes up limited splice slots. While Charles Ross, Esq. is essential to this deck, Dario El-Amin is easily replaced by Leo De Luca, especially the lv 1 version. An extra Burglary might be called for in that case; it can always be grabbed with Smuggled Goods but consistancy is key.

Anyway, Charles Ross, Esq. on an item heavy rogue allows for a lot of fun things. For one you'll have no trouble getting your money's worth out of Charles Ross, Esq. with your own slew of items (especially on Knife recursion at 0xp), but you're also one of the only investigators who can use him and has access to the wealth to share (Jenny Barnes and Lola Hayes being the other two). He also allows for a fun pairing with Dark Horse William Yorick with you footing the bill on his ability for item recursion with him having your back with "Let me handle this!" and First Aid. You can also roll with Daisy Walker, helping her out with her textbooks so she can afford her liberal arts degree (Higher Education) and maybe take some obcure extracurriculars in the arcane (Shrivelling). He is an amazing support to anyone who has their deck building limited by a tight economy and too many shiny items to choose from. He needs some help with horror and willpower, but other than than Finn can fend for himself and scoop up clues with ease while leaving enemies in the dust, or in the dirt.

I tested this on a 19 exp version for The Labyrinths of Lunacy and even with a proper Seeker in Daisy Walker I did almost all of the clue gathering, and well ahead of the agenda, as I was more than equipped to do so and Daisy was busy as a field medic just trying to keep us alive.

I chose this build because Lockpicks, Burglary, and Dario El-Amin are all once per turn actions, so they wind up working together pretty well getting a lot of mileage out of your turn with very efficient actions, though Leo De Luca is the king of turn efficiency and Dario can be a bit niche. However, with High Roller now out, if you do hit 10 resources with Dario El-Amin Finn actually has a chance... ... maybe, on some lower tests, like the Liquid Courage, especially if you find some Unexpected Courage as well. The flask is in there mostly for thematic reasons, but also to offer a buddy a drink after you pawn off some traumatic Rotting Remains on them with a "You handle this one!". Sure Gamble can be added for must pass tests, naturally.

Clue gathering turns will look like Sleight of Hand into Flashlight for 3 easy clues or a free evade action into Lockpicks, a quick move to safety with friends, and hitting up your sponsor Dario El-Amin for the last action of your turn, but you can always hook your friends up with help from your dealer, Charles Ross, Esq. during their turn.

And Finn has decent and decent weapons. Scavenging can also recur Knife and Charles Ross, Esq. get it in for free for lv 0 decks, and you can commit redundant weapon draws to tests and get them back with Scavenging for later. You can also use your Finn's Trusty .38 for +2 in a pinch or just the desperate wild icon if Scavenging is out to recurr it.

Logical Reasoning because things like Frozen in Fear exist, and everything else is just extremely efficient with Finn's play style or other staple cards.

Overall this deck tested AMAZINGLY well, and is very thematic and fun. A Charon's Obol and a copy of Adaptable never hurt ;) but it's all up to play style and if you have foreknowledge of what's to come if you want to run those. Always open to suggestions and criticism, any feedback appreciated! let me know what you think <3
